introduction
hey for those of you who don't know me my name is chaim herskowitz, I'm majoring in business marketing but plan on going to law school (you can Major in anything an still go to law school) i currently work at a respectable law firm and therefore have some first hand experience an access to allot of information (and lawyers to answer my questions lol). which brings me to what this club really is, i realized recently that touro doesn't really emphasize or gear anything toward law that much (or at least not on the ave j campus) and theres prob many kids who if they knew more about law might actually be very interested, and of course the few who are interested but don't have any connections to any law material or know students who are taking law to. that is why I'm making a law club at touro college so kids who are going for law or possibly interested in law can connect and network and help each other out, there will of course be meetings etc. but also i will try to answer any questions regarding to anything law related on this blog and give as much info as i can for anybody interested or just curies about law. anyone can also email me at sheeshmister@aol.com anytime they'd like with any questions what so ever. an remember this site is open for anyone even if Ur not planning on going into law right now but you might be interested please feel free to join or to post any questions you wouldlike. also on a side note if everything goes as planned we will hopefully be meeting with different lawyers in different fields to get first hand experience and answers to any questions.

I must say it is about time that someone stepped up to the plate. So many graduates from Touro apply to law schools and do not have the extra information that is gained through a club. I think Chaim should receive an award for putting time into “finally” developing Touro’s first “Law Club.”
ReplyDeleteGeniuses! Why was there no law club before?
ReplyDeleteI’m a law student and one of the things my interviewers focused on was if I was involved in any sort of law club I was pretty embarrassed to say no! Establishing this club will save lots of shame for many students. Good job kid!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that someone so driven has finally taken the initiative to create what Touro was undeniably lacking; a proper respected Law Club. Without an official Law Club to be a part of, I wasn't sure how I would be able to earnestly compete to attend top schools like Princeton, Harvard and Columbia.
ReplyDeleteThank You Chaim!
(I hope we have a chance to visit a real courtroom and maybe see a case!)
Finally a Law Club!
ReplyDeleteI was waiting for something like this for a while
